Pope Francis says the coronavirus pandemic has proven that the “magic theories” of market capitalism have failed and that the world needs a new type of politics that promotes dialogue and solidarity and rejects war at all costs.

I was raised Catholic, and attended a Catholic school through 8th grade.  I would say my family strictly followed the rules, and I was parked in church every sunday, holy day, times from school, etc.

When I think of the people who GAVE MONEY faithfully to them every week, when they didn't have much, just makes me so mad to hear statements like this.  They gave for "special" offerings, you name it.  And they were barely getting by.

While these "leaders" live in luxury sitting on vast wealth.
