Trump has been taking hcq for a few months now. It's possible this will be a mild case and could test negative two days in a row within a week or two. That would allow him back on the trail. Hoping he recovers quickly
Assume that's the situation and the case is mild:
President Trump could pivot to a fireside chat MO, which might help with those offended by the rah rah rallies.
The Democrats typically overplay things and if they appear jubilant, it could lead to an extreme backfire.

POTUS has been given convalescent plasma cocktail from Regeneron. I hope they're just being very careful and our President will not fall too ill with the damn China virus.
I heard one doctor today on FOX News say Trump may be well recovered so that he can make the second debate on the 15th. If so, IMO, this might be a big plus for Trump with respect to the youth vote, as they are the least vulnerable to the affects of the virus. I say this, as the youth in this country have been made to stay sheltered, stay away from having a good time at the beach, schools shut down, etc. Now they will see a 74--year-old grandpa beat the virus, which will prove Trump was right all along -- that if you are young you have better than a 99% chance of not dying from COVID, and that possibly all the state governments have overreacted in keeping so many people locked down for so long -- businesses being lost, people out of jobs, etc.
What I'm trying to say is that there may be a silver lining in Trump and Melania contracting COVID. Many people might see -- and respect --that Trump was willing to use his freedom and liberties, and take a calculated risk and go out there among the people, telling them what he plans to do to get the country up and running again for the benefit of all its citizens. This is something that can't be done from the sterile safety of one's basement, but only what a brave leader exercising his freedom and liberties will do for his country.
While I do not wish Sleepy Joe Biden catches 19, I do hope he is shaking in his boots and is afraid it will get him too. He certainly does not look well enough to handle it.
