Could be we have never formally met them, is the fact Earth is a murder planet. Almost everything on our beautiful planet kills something else for one reason or another.
It's everywhere from weeds killing grass to everything below and above this level. There is also great love and compassion here, but it may not be worth their effort to look for it.
