Sorry, Teacher's Pet, you should have signed with the Yankees when you had the chance. How do you think Mike Trout feels...and I think, arguably, Trout is the best player in town. I don't buy into this pitcher/hitter favoritism stuff. Ohtani could bat under .200 with more losses than wins as a pitcher and would probably still get all the headlines.

Yankees players upset over 'unusually brutal experience' during ALCS
https://www.foxnews.com/sports/yankees- ... lcs-report
This is exactly what I had been talking about. Fans who were jeering with Boo's should have realized their actions were dimwitted and not thought through. Can't help but feel the fact that they allow beer at thesee stadiums plays a part as it causes some to act out with childish behavior. After what Judge did during the season, how can some be upset with him if he didn't come though as much in the playoffs. Same thing happened to Jeter at the end of his career when it seemed he was endlessly hitting grounders into double plays. I wonder if Babe Ruth got boo'd at the end of his career. Fans today are so ungrateful and have that 'what have you done lately' mentality. They scream like drunken banshees as if they were the ones playing the game. If Judge leaves, I wouldn't be upset with him but it will definitely play a part if I continue to follow baseball next year. Too many dumb new rules as it is.

I think NY fans are in a league of their own. The Dodgers had a similar season in that they played great until October, then very bad. But the fans never booed them.Nyte_Byrd wrote: ↑Wed Oct 26, 2022 4:47 pm Yankees players upset over 'unusually brutal experience' during ALCS

I wonder if the NY treatment will motivate Aaron Judge to seek somewhere else to play next year.

World Series 2022: Black Pumas singer Eric Burton blunders lyrics to national anthem
https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/w ... nal-anthem
That was the most pathetic version of the anthem I've ever heard samg at a ballgame. Why do they always seem to scrape the bottom of the barrel for these things? And they said he was an award winner?
Sheesh! Never even heard of this clown.
