Sports radio legend Chris Russo unleashes epic tirade on Mets' collapse, Buck Showalter, analytics
https://www.foxnews.com/sports/sports-r ... -analytics
I agree with him that there is too much commentary in games with analytics. All I want to know is if it was a home run or not. I am not interested in velocity or launch angles. Leave all that stuff to know it all, Brian Kenny whose only baseball experience was probably Little League.

Showalter's request that Muskgrove be examined was only designed to annoy Muskgrove. It backfired. Desperate people do desperate things.

Re: Baseball Bits
Hope this doesn't sound too nitpicky, but it was enough for me to email MLB about it.
Was watching MLB TV this morning. Bottom banner was showing scheduled games for today.
Guardians-Yankees. Showed Cleveland leads series 1-0??????????? Are they kidding me?
How can a major station make such a blunder. And some people who don't really follow the games will probably believe it. Yanks won the first and only game played so far. Obviously whoever updates the bottom banner doesn't give much attention to detail. Sheesh!!

Bob Costas mistakenly calls Guardians pitcher Justin Bieber: 'I vowed that would not happen'
https://www.foxnews.com/sports/bob-cost ... not-happen
Saw that. Was funny. He called him "Justin" twice.

Slumping Aaron Judge hears boos from Yankees fans: 'I gotta play better'
https://www.foxnews.com/sports/slumping ... lay-better
Was watching the game. There were some boos but not all were booing. How fast some forget!
Could have even been ooh's that sounded like boos. I don't care for Judge batting leadoff. Would like to see him bat in 3rd spot.
If the fans in NY were booing, they should realize it isn't the sort of thing to have him feel wanted or appreciated, considering all he has accomplished. He's coming up on free agency, and this could cause him to make a decision to accept an offer elsewhere.

Guardians' Josh Naylor says Gerrit Cole is his 'little f---ing son' after launching home run
https://www.foxnews.com/sports/guardian ... g-home-run
I think this guy has some loose screws upstairs! In a past game he got so crazy hitting a homer, he head butted the manager. He definitely has some emotional issues. From what I understand, he doesn't even have any kids. Thankfully. I hate to think he was someone's father.
Not convinced? Then check out some more.

Shohei Ohtani has ‘negative impression’ of season as Angels’ struggles continue, despite stellar year
https://www.foxnews.com/sports/shohei-o ... ellar-year
Sorry, Teacher's Pet, you should have signed with the Yankees when you had the chance. How do you think Mike Trout feels...and I think, arguably, Trout is the best player in town. I don't buy into this pitcher/hitter favoritism stuff. Ohtani could bat under .200 with more losses than wins as a pitcher and would probably still get all the headlines.
