Judge? Ohtani? Who's in the lead for MVP?

Should there be any question who should win? But I am sure the "Teacher's Pet" will get some first place votes.

Not too biased, are ya, Phil?

Re: Baseball Bits
A guy that can both pitch well and hit well, has to be of more value than just a hitter or just a pitcher.
I remember a time when there were pitchers that could hit a ball too.

Nothing against Judge, But ---Nyte_Byrd wrote: ↑Tue Sep 20, 2022 11:51 pm Aaron Judge hits 60th home run of season, putting him in elite MLB club

For me, any records have to be factored by how many games were played in the regular season.
162 games is 8 more games than 154. That could mean around 30 more at bats.
(The druggie HRs don't count for anything)
Has any one hit as many HRs as Ruth in the same or less number of games?

3. Aaron Judge, 147 games, 2022
6. Babe Ruth, 154 games, 1927
So right now Judge has tied Ruth's 60 -- he has 7 games left to hit one more and break Ruth's record.
If he has any luck at all, he should be able to do it.

Him and his other drugged up friends, don't belong in any discussions when talking about real players like Ruth, Aaron, Pujols, Judge, Maris, etc.
762 home runs my ass.
