Goodbye 007
Sean Connery died in his sleep overnight. He was 90. I saw my first Bond film at the outdoor theater while stationed at Barber's Point Naval Air Station on Oahu, Hawaii. The film was Goldfinger, which is still my all time favorite, and when Honor Blackman introduced herself as Pussy Galore the entire audience of sailors went berserk. Sir Sean was James Bond, and all the others who played the role were merely imposters.

He did, sort of, The Hunt for Red October for example.

Then after Connery said he would never play Bond again, he returned for a remake of Thunderball called "Never say Never Again."

One of my favorite actors of all time. Im sure he will be missed by many.....Time for a James Bond Marathon.....
