I don't think the fans are going to be as forgiving as in the past.   Baseball may go the way of 'football'.
No one will care about it anymore.  Too many other more important matters to be concerned with than baseball players and owners who make millions!  Do the players who just signed long term contracts still get paid if they don't play?

Greed begets greed.  How can ANY player make over 30 million a year?  I wish they would do away with that stupid rule of having a ghost runner on 2nd base in extra innings.
