I need some input here: Why are people voting for policies that will eventually KILL them? I honestly don’t understand this. Now, my daughter is a shrink but she only offers a ‘psych-talk’ explanation and I’m pretty sure 1/2 the population isn’t clinically insane! What the hell is going on is the question my mind constantly runs…and I’m unable to answer it!

I'm slowly arriving at this conclusion as well. Perhaps not allowing Natural Selection to remove the insane and/or the stupid was a big mistake?

Well over half the population just isn't too bright, and can't think for themselves.

Why? I have no idea. I have often wondered why so many America Jews vote Democrat. They KNOW for an absolute fact what was done to Jews in Germany and elsewhere. Yet they still vote for corrupt, unethical candidates who not only mean them harm but all Americans.
As to why non-Jewish voters vote the way they do, my guess is freebies. They want cradle to grave welfare with government taking care of any and all problems while they do nothing. I'm sure there are many other reasons, but I think this hits the high points.

A government big enough to give freebies is also big enough to take them away! This is what the freebies takers don't understand and some day they'll realize this when it becomes a reality!
