     In communist California it's 28 days. That includes motels, hotels, house rentals, "weekend" units, camping, RV spaces, etc.
    Commies inflicted this law in order to attack property owners for no other reason than they can.

This is simply government sanctioned stealing. Never/ever leave your real estate property vacant...pay someone you trust to live there if need be.

I know vigilanteism is a no-no but when the justice system fails to protect the honest citizen then we are left with no recourse. Personally I have no problem with it.
