353 U.S. Counties in 29 States with Voter Registration Rates Exceeding 100%

Judicial Watch announced today that a September 2020 study revealed that 353 U.S. counties had 1.8 million more registered voters than eligible voting-age citizens. In other words, the registration rates of those counties exceeded 100% of eligible voters. The study found eight states showing state-wide registration rates exceeding 100%: Alaska, Colorado, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

Judicial Watch’s latest study is necessarily limited to 37 states that post regular updates to their registration data. Certain state voter registration lists may also be even larger than reported, because they may have excluded “inactive voters” from their data. Inactive voters, who may have moved elsewhere, are still registered voters and may show up and vote on election day and/or request mail-in ballots.

“The new study shows 1.8 million excess, or ‘ghost’ voters in 353 counties across 29 states,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The data highlights the recklessness of mailing blindly ballots and ballot applications to voter registration lists. Dirty voting rolls can mean dirty elections.”

I'm curious, "ACS 5 YR CVAP" is American Community Survey 5 year estimates from 2018 for this analysis. That study looks like the worst cases are 1-10% over based on 2 year old population estimates. If the inactive registrations weren't included in the population estimate, the excess is even smaller.

I agree, there is likely fraud everywhere, but this doesn't look like proof I'd take to court.

Republicans tried to clean up voters rolls in Dallas last year but Democrats blocked it via court order. They claimed it was for voter suppression, but really, if somebody was removed incorrectly, they could still vote with a provisional ballot.

I think it was some talking head on Fox yesterday afternoon, I didn't pay too much attention, I was ironing my socks...(yawn)...but it resonated with me because I thought hopefully that it would cure some of the voter fraud out there which continues apace...

Texas leads nation in early voting totals, with 4 million ballots cast
As of Sunday, more than 4 million Texans have voted in the general election, either through absentee ballots or in-person early voting, which began last Tuesday. Those ballots account for roughly 45 percent of the nearly 9 million total votes counted during the presidential election four years ago.

 Those statistics come as Texas is expected to break voting records this year, with some elections experts predicting up to 70 percent turnout. Nearly 17 million people are registered to vote in Texas this year, up almost 2 million from 2016, according to the Texas Secretary of State.
