Close the schools is no loss.
All the kids learn is how to roll a joint with their toes.
The teachers have lost all of their control in the classrooms.

I'm surprised he didn't come right out and blame the Jewish communities in those areas. 

These school closings by the lefties to continue their crisis propaganda could well end up biting them in the long run. Public education has long been little more than indoctrination centers, especially in democrat controlled cities and states.  But now they are forcing home schooling - a practice they have long opposed - in order to continue with their health crisis agenda.  But depending on parents to implement their curriculum is going to backfire, since all but the most extreme lefty households are NOT going to allow the indoctrination factor of public education in their homes.

Plus, the distance learning factor is causing a level of transparency in the curriculum the lefties have long been hiding. Many areas are experiencing a significant level of from parents as they find out just what is actually being taught. I foresee a big push-back against standard public education curriculum coming.
