Excellent characterization of the debate

------------------------

The debate? Trump was great, Chris Wallace was a dreadful disgrace By Patricia McCarthy
Chris Wallace's overt defense of Joe Biden throughout the debate on Tuesday night was so obvious, so blatant, he should be proscribed from ever "moderating" a debate again.
Wallace's performance was as Biden's protector, his advocate, and that is undeniable.  He stepped in at every moment Biden seemed lost: court-packing, lack of support of law enforcement, and Hunter's criminality. The debate was so poorly managed.  The questions were designed to aid Biden, to coddle him.  No wonder Trump felt duty-bound to interrupt.  Trump was debating both Wallace and Biden, and only one of them is sentient.
Wallace's intent was clear: sabotage Trump.  Wallace succeeded only in looking like the stooge he is.
Wallace should be fired for his wholesale lack of objectivity.  He's become a cut-rate Dan Rather.

Trump made important points, all of which Wallace tried to mitigate: voter fraud is real and is being perpetrated by Democrats throughout the country.
It was Wallace who made the debate something of a farce; he left Trump no path but to try to refute the lies in his questions and Biden's responses.  I am guessing that Chris Wallace is now dead to vast numbers of conservatives who once upon a time respected him.  After this debate, they respect him no more.

I watched fox a couple times today ... nary a peep about walass.  Plenty of pissing on The Donald for interrupting.

Ari Flieschr was on one of the pundit shows and said that he re-listened to the comedy show.

First question ... to Trump ... no interruptions
Second question ... to joe ... no interruptions
Third question ... to Trump ... hiden interrupted not once but three times.

Not too hard to figure out who was at fault and why the s*** went downhill.

But since I did not watch it ... I have to take Ari's word.  Did I happen to mention how glad I am that I didn't watch ???  My blood pressure stayed normal and my pissed off gland got a rest.

Ok, the first debate had a Demonrat moderator...how about the second debate having a Conservative moderator? The Demonrats will never agree to that though! I suspect the debates are over.

Look no further than OANN for some conservative, unbiased, moderators, but the "commision" (what a fraud that is), would never allow them.

I did not watch the entire debate yet but from what I did see did Trump have a choice other then to be a bully?
He not only had a drugged up Biden to deal with but then Wally seems to have been there to debate Trump as well.

From what I watched our President worked Biden just right, in spite of Joe's coach and trainer, Wallace.  At first I thought Trump should have spoken over Biden and Wallace to allow Biden to hang himself, but the whole sham was a setup from the get/go, so all bet were of and Joe hung himself anyway.   If not he would not gave had to run around afterwards backtracking  and sucking up to the communists.  Biden shot himself in both feet because Trump pushed his buttons very well, in spite of Wallace's constant interruptions.

I have to confess to viewing Dan Bongino ( https://api.parler.com/l/9H6fp ) and Rush Limbaugh's radio show to help me see Trump's strategy.  I'm getting a bit slow in my old age, so need a little boost.

I was pissed that Wallace didn't call out Biden for talking out both sides of his mouth. Biden proclaimed that Trump shut the economy down (that Biden and Obama didn't shut the economy down during the swine flu epidemic). Yet, later in the debate Biden stated that "you can’t fix the economy until you fix the COVID crisis." I can only interpret that to mean Biden would keep the economy shut down until the virus was virtually wiped out. Wallace should have demanded Biden for clarification, would you or would you not have shut the economy down under the same circumstances as Trump was faced with?

Walt, you assume that Chris Wallace, or Joe Biden, is smart enough to understand how our economy is affected by a shutdown or how difficult it is to eliminate a virus – the common cold is an excellent example.  Joe’s disconnected answers to Trump’s prodding should be all one need know what his answer would be.
