Keir Starmer: “The UK is prepared to defend Ukraine with boots on the ground!”

Sir Keir Starmer has said he is "ready and willing" to put UK troops on the ground in Ukraine to help guarantee its security as part of a peace deal.
The UK prime minister said securing a lasting peace in Ukraine was "essential if we are to deter Putin from further aggression in the future".
Ahead of an emergency summit with European leaders in Paris on Monday, Sir Keir said the UK was prepared to contribute to security guarantees to Ukraine by "putting our own troops on the ground if necessary".
"I do not say that lightly," he wrote
in the Daily Telegraph. "I feel very deeply the responsibility that comes with potentially putting British servicemen and women in harm's way."

Good, let the UK give them money and troops for this stupid and evil war. I think once UK troops begin to die the Brits will have second thoughts.

That's a sacrifice he's willing to make. What a pompous ass. He had better tend to his own problems or there soon won't be a UK left.

My understanding is that the UK is not GIVING money - it's a LOAN which has to be paid back. Wonder if the UK remembers Viet Nam and what a mess that was...??

Interesting contradiction this be.
The UK PM is willing to send his people to die in war (which he knows will not end as long as he keeps sending them) YET!, those same people will be jailed if they say or post "mean" comments about other people; including the UK Parliament.
Nice, sounds like a commie to me.
