In the 1930s there was a pro-Nazi group called the AmerikaDeutscher Volksbund. They were disbanded by the US Government in December of 1941 and their leaders were interned for the duration of the war. The leader, Fritz Julius Kuhn was stripped of his citizenship in 1943 an' deported to Germany in 1945.
