Fill up your tank?
Plan to arrive early?
Pack essentials?

I think it's more that we all know some people have no brains. Like the warning label on the hair dryer not to put it in the bathtub.

After the eclipse of 2017, it took us almost 7 hours to travel less than 50 miles, from Rexburg, where we viewed the eclipse back to our campground near Island Park in Idaho. There were areas of higher population where I heard people were stuck on the highways over night.

Much to do about nothing.
There are five or ten eclipses (solar / lunar) per year.
Science can be a joy killer.

Re: Are they Planning Something?
Total solar eclipses are kind of a big deal. There are a maximum of two per year, and can only be viewed from a very small (relatively) area of the planet - areas which are commonly in the middle of an ocean. I consider myself lucky to have seen two in person. The first was when I was 19, on February 26, 1979 which passed over Bozeman. Some classmates and I drove up to Bridger Bowl ski area to watch. The second was August 21, 2017. We drove from Bozeman down to Rexburg to view it. Got some amazing photos using a homemade filter on my wife's DSLR.SurroundedByLiberals wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 12:23 pm Much to do about nothing.

Isn’t it amazing that these epidemics come around in election years?
