During the early 1930’s, the Goodyear Tire Company had two special buses that toured the country. Goodyears promotional vehicle with airwheel that some deemed the “mastodon of the highways!” The special “Airwheel” was 12 feet tall & 4 feet wide & was believed to have several hundred thousand miles life span.

At 2:25 a.m. on Feb. 25, 1942, the people of Los Angeles woke up to sirens. Every light in the city was extinguished. Spotlights searched the sky above as bombs exploded overhead, filling the horizon with smoke and scattering debris across the city. The battle Los Angeles.
