I think he's conservative and has been under attack by commies too. Israel: That looks like someone got paid off for sure.
The IDF is known for rapid response because they've been doing it since 1949.
And!, those kibbutz people 100% believed they were protected by the IDF. Sure, a few had "safe rooms" as extra precaution which did work in some cases. But not one kibbutz person would have thought that the IDF would take hours to respond.

Here's thought from one of my son's friends who's into tech security: Could the IDF security measures have been somehow hacked by Hamas operatives? This was the first thing my son's friend thought of when this all went down. Also, notice how the incursion over the border was achieved by hang gliders and motorcycles...nothing high tech was involved there. Food for thought I'd say.
