BREAKING
A new and more lethal OMICRON variant has been detected.
It's called BS-24/7. It attacks the truth and insults your intelligence.

Plus the R&D to develop the electric motors that would dependably operate at temerature extremes from -120 thru +180; control systems with the same operability parameters, communications gear to attach to the "up side down umbrella" battery packs also designed to operate in temperature extremes as well as provide a range of 57 miles all using 1970s technology while coming in at under 500 lbs. And, since they only made 5 of them, the cost per vehicles was indeed rather steep to cover the R&D expenses.

But was it worth it?ZeWazir wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 4:13 pmPlus the R&D to develop the electric motors that would dependably operate at temerature extremes from -120 thru +180; control systems with the same operability parameters, communications gear to attach to the "up side down umbrella" battery packs also designed to operate in temperature extremes as well as provide a range of 57 miles all using 1970s technology while coming in at under 500 lbs. When it comes to science and engineering, pure research INVARIABLY pays off, quite often in ways not anticipated, but it has never failed us yet. The necessity of minimizing space and weight led to the concept of printed circuits, which completely revolutionized the field of electronics. All modern electronics derive from that basic idea of printing connections between components rather than wiring. The medical field made incredible advances in diagnostics and monitoring. Materials science also made huge advances directly stemming from the space program.CountZero wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 5:04 pmBut was it worth it?ZeWazir wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 4:13 pmPlus the R&D to develop the electric motors that would dependably operate at temerature extremes from -120 thru +180; control systems with the same operability parameters, communications gear to attach to the "up side down umbrella" battery packs also designed to operate in temperature extremes as well as provide a range of 57 miles all using 1970s technology while coming in at under 500 lbs.
