Of the forms of Lymphoma Hodgkins is the most treatable and has the best rate of cure. Obviously, cancer is always serious but some forms are more treatable than others. I think Dan can beat this, he has good doctors and he's only 45.

I hate to be a downer on this lovely autumn day, but my little brother died of Hodgkins - we never got over it. My parents took him to the Mayo clinic and they couldn't do anything. This is bad stuff. Prayers indeed for both of them. BTW, I have outlived all my doctors...I have just about run through the entire AMA. Probably has to do with a lifetime of fitness (yes, I had a few lapses, maybe more than a few)...
