About These Gubmint Job Buyouts

Post: # 114297Post mortarman »

From 2010 to 2013 I worked as a cashier at the Ft. McCoy PX. In 2013, "Sequestration" came along an' I lost my job. No buyout, no activist judge stepping in an' preventing it.  Now 75,000 Gubmint employees are being offered to be bought out with 6 months salary. An' the Libs are in a hissy fit. In 2013 all I got was my last paycheck an' was told to be thankful they were gifting me with that. An' there were no leftistactivist judge to put a stop to it.
Now what I wonder is if they object to 6 months severance pay, jus' how much are they stealing from the taxpayers that they would go to an activist judge to stop the buyout?

I got a buy-out on my last job - been there 35 years. It was the happiest day of my life - the Golden Parachute is great if you engineer it properly...

I don't think the buyout has anything to do with their corruption. They oppose it merely because it's part of Trump's agenda and they plan to oppose everything he does because orange man bad. If Biden had done the same thing it would be hailed as a brilliant idea.
You know you’re old when the only mail you get is ads for hearing aids and cremation.

   Agree.  TDS for sure.
Elon and team are going to find and save (us) more than enough to pay useless bureaucrats buyouts.  In fact, most of these people just wanted "good" jobs so they go along to get along.  Like teachers who join teachers unions.  Most teachers are not commies but they don't fight the unions because of $$.
