Oops! Pirates' Hayes loses homer after missing first base
https://www.foxnews.com/sports/oops-pir ... first-base
With all the new rules, like pointing to first to walk a batter, starting a runner at 2nd base in extra innings, making a relief pitcher have to face at least 3 batters before they can change pitchers, limiting mound visits (which hasn't seemed to make a difference).....all supposedly to shorten the game,
why haven't they thought of not having a need to run the bases on a homer over the wall? It might help stop all the showboating that occurs in today's game. Some of these new rules are dumb.
