I've never thought of the name "Indians" as being negative in any manner.  If anything, it was more of an elevation.  Not to mention it is baseball history.

“Hearing firsthand the stories and experiences of Native American people, we gained a deep understanding of how tribal communities feel about the team name and the detrimental effects it has on them...."

BULL STUFF!!  They carefully select a few whiney leftist crybabies who have been thoroughly indoctrinated on some leftist campus, complete with safe rooms and designated, segregated "free speech" areas, who claim to have NA ancestry (and we know how truthful they are!).  How in the 9 billion names of God can naming a professional sports team 105 years ago, after a particular class of people have a "detrimental effect" on descendants of said class?  It's pure unadulterated leftist, division oriented propaganda.

Now, I am not a big sports fan, and definitely not of Baseball.  My only inclination toward the Cleveland Indians is due to the movie "Major League," with Tom Berenger, James Gammon, and Rene Russo. But this kind of crap really blows my cork.
