I can't help but feel the only reason they gave this award to Vlad, is because they already know Ohtani is going to get MVP. The fix is in. Ohtani nudged out Miguel Andujar for Rookie of the Year when he should not have been eligible for ROY award being he already played quite a bit in Japan Pro ball.
