Boos for being in first place?  However, they could be heading for biggest choke since 2004 if they keep
losing too much.  The fans already boo'd Gallo out of town.  Now they are doing the same to Aaron Hicks.

Fans have a right to boo in the stadium.  They paid for their tickets and the players are making big bucks, so booing comes with the territory.

But it does affect players.  You can say they are pros so they should be able to take it.  But just as cheering buoys them up, so does booing have the opposite effect.   Many NY fans enjoy being rude and crude, but in the long run, they don't help their team.

Tattoo safety: What to know about getting inked as Yankees' Aroldis Chapman recovers from infection

I never did understand why some black people get tattoos.  Most of the time, they don't show up good.
Today's baseball players seem to think baseball is more of fashion show, with neck tats and girlie earrings.

There are more than a few that haven't had a hair cut in a long time.

When I become commissioner, there will be no more of that s***.
I don't care if you are the next coming of Babe Ruth, if you want to look like a San Fran street person, you stay in the minors.

I imagine a lot of fans our age feel the same way.  I am not impressed with these hot dog type players with the bat flips, getting on base and making these stupid looking hand signs to their dugout.  Years ago, a player would get plunked for acting out like to show up a pitcher.  My hair these days isn't exactly short, but I am not a baseball player.  Seems a lot of pitchers come up from the minors with super long hair.  Watching some games these days, I can't recall so many players swinging at junk ball pitches.  It's like watching little league.
And while some have some good numbers with homers and RBI's many have lousy batting averages.  From below .200 to hardly above .200.  Players like that in the past didn't last long in the majors.

I sure do miss the old days of baseball when they had more mature players...and fans as well who didn't attend the games just to get drunk.

Meanwhile, some of these players think that they are role models???

I stopped watching the NFL when I had enough of the hotdoging – every time one of the morons made a tackle.
The baseball morons are not quite as bad, but they do tend to act like little kids. Getting a single is no reason to make an ass out of yourself.
You get to jump up and down and wave your hands when you hit 700 home runs, or win 30 games in a season.
Until then you are just another of the hundreds of over paid baseball players wearing a gold chain.
