I'm curious to see how this pitch clock works. I am assuming there will be some method the pitcher can go by to know how much time he has to make a pitch. A clock on the back wall? But wouldn't that be a distraction for a pitcher to be concentrating on a pitch? And if certain pitchers rush too much, would that be an injury risk?
I believe some minor league teams are experimenting with an electronic pitch call at home plate. I wouldn't mind that but if I recall they were saying a team can request a pitch call to be reviewed only twice or something?
Would I be mistaken that with an electronic reader, there is no way the call could be wrong?
