Mondo Duplantis, who hails from South Louisiana and was a student at LSU before turning pro breaks the world's record in the Pole Vault. His brother was an outfielder -- who could run like a deer -- at LSU as well. I did a little of this in High School, but with those steel poles it was all on you to get over the bar. The fiberglass poles just launch you like a rocket into orbit, but that's the way it is these days.
