Sliders: a Prophetic TV Show

Never watched this show until last night.
For those not familiar, SLIDERS is a SYFY TV series (1995-2000) using a theory that we live among different dimentions. A "scientist" invents a way to move (SLIDE) between dimentions.
Pilot episode second half has them in Golden Gate Park in front of a statue of Lincoln. They try to get back to where they started but never seems to happen. When they try again, they "SLIDE" into a dimension ending up in front of the same statue BUT this time the statue is of Vladimir Lenin. They find a "resistance fighter" who tells them the Soviets have conquered the United States by first taking over smaller countries and gaining their wealth AND the USA has lost much of it's wealth.
Looks to me like a prophetic SYFY, where it's now China trying to take over the USA and the world and the democrats are helping China do exactly that along with McConnell and McCarthy etl..
