Yes, that is Dion from Dion and the Belmonts. I saw him give a speak at an AA retreat back in the '90's.

I can't get into participating on those Zoom AA meetings online. For me, it was more about getting with some newcomer 'after' the meeting. Someone who just needed someone to talk to, one on one. Got a call yesterday from a young fellow I knew from about 8 years back. Same old story. Says he's tired of the drinking lifestyle and was looking for help. Same thing he told me 8 years ago. And I didn't want to direct him to an AA meeting because I know not all wear masks there. So I didn't want to give him a suggestion that may lead him to getting the COVID. And let's face it. There can be some unsavory type characters at these meetings and Lord knows where they have been congregating. I sure do miss going to the meetings. Had been an avid participant for 33 years. But I can't risk it with my age and health conditions. Hoping to get the vaccine and then reevaluate.
