I used to listen to him while driving delivery (in late '60's).  I remember the intro song.  "I don't care if the rainbow freezes, as long as I got my plastic Jesus riding on the  dashboard of my car." :lol:

One time he supposedly called a hotel in Tripoli, looking for Idi Amin who was supposed to be visiting there.
He was having a hard time communicating with the lady on the phone and yelled at her....

"LOOK UP IN THE TREE!  HE'S A BIG MONKEY WITHOUT A TAIL!"  (something to that effect!).  :mrgreen:

I didn't care for Howard Stern.  He was an Imus wannabe!  Profited riding on the coattails of Imus.
