The storm was too far away from us, but we did get some winds up around 30-MPH and 2.5" of rain.  My wife was watching what she said was an 8-foot long Coachwhip out back, but she said it was 2 or 3 inches around!  They are usually not more than one inch round.  Here are typical Florida Coachwhips and a recent Python:
