Time proven old study says "eating too much dinner does lead to weight gain".
Do you really think Stacy Abrams is skipping any dinners??

Re: Skipping dinner might lead to weight gain, new study says
Habitual skipping of meals tends to lead to two things. First, the metabolism slows because the body wants to conserve energy from the lack of food intake. (It thinks it may be starving.) Second, when people skip a major meal, they are hungrier later, and then eat more in their following meals. Between the slower metabolism and eating more to make up for the skipped meal(s) does, indeed, lead to weight gain. Nothing "new" in this "new" study. Nutritionists have known this since I was a teen. Proper eating, including the drawbacks of skipping meals, was discussed at length in my health class when I was sophomore in high school.
Of course, there are all kinds of causes for obesity. My problem is late night sweets.
