"Police say the man was looking into a bedroom window from outside and the woman inside the home got scared and grabbed a rifle. She shot several times at the suspect through the wall of the home. Police say the man was shot one time and died at the scene."

Good for her, but I suspect she could be in for a lot of grief depending on the local prosecutor. It can be argued that the perp did not directly threaten her and the shooting wasn’t justified. Anyplace other than Texas she would probably be in big trouble.
