Convicted terrorist Cristina Iglesias, a biological male who identifies as transgender, will receive sex change surgery with taxpayers picking up the tab. Iglesias is recorded as a "female inmate."
The Washington Free Beacon reports that 47 year old Cristina Iglesias, born Kenneth R. West, will become the first federal transgender inmate to have the taxpayers pay for their "sex reassignment" surgery.

Estimates range for the procedures, but the Philadelphia Center for Transgender Surgery provides a menu from which someone can pick and choose their surgery cocktail.
A male to female operation starts around the $25,000 range but can cost as much as $100,000.

In 2015, Iglesias asked to be transferred to a women's prison and began hormone treatment. The Bureau of Prisons insisted that 12 months of treatment were necessary to prevent the inmate from being able to achieve an erection. This in hopes of stifling the string of rapes in women's prisons by men who identify as transgender.Iglesias' requested an escalation from chemical castration to genital reconstruction surgery, but it was denied.Then Iglesias sued in 2019 writing "being denied the gender-affirming care I need has had a huge impact on me, because I’m unable to complete myself. Not having a body that matches who I know myself to be affects me every moment of every day. It is very difficult and hard to keep hope."T
he ACLU said that refusing to provide sex-change surgery was a violation of the Eighth Amendment banning cruel and unusual punishment.Their lawsuit declared "to Ms. Iglesias, her genitalia feel like an abnormal and life-threatening growth on her body, like a malignant tumor from cancer that needs to be removed.
"Judge Rosenstengel agreed and wrote that "Iglesias suffers daily and is at risk of self-mutilation and suicide." (like that would have been such a tragedy!)

Iglesias was convicted in 1994 for sending death threats to federal judges and again in 1997 for sending similar threats. On the eve of being released from prison in 2002 Iglesias mailed fake anthrax to the British Commonwealth and Foreign Office writing "I hope to see to it you people die a slow and painful death!!! This anthrax is very lethal and deadly!!!!" Iglesias pleaded guilty in 2005 and has been in prison since.

It's unclear if taxpayers will be on the hook for the $10,000 per year upkeep treatment required to sustain sex change operations

Can anyone think of someone who said caving to the transgender lobby would result in terrible consequences? Oh, wait, we at Louder with Crowder have been saying that forever! So, after a "transgender" inmate in New Jersey knocked up two female inmates, I'm going to be gracious and not start yelling, "I told you so!" I will, however, type it out. I told you so.The New York Post reports that Demi Minor, a 27-year-old "transwoman" who is serving 30 years for manslaughter has been moved from the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women to the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility. Now, he's housed with a bunch of males, but I don't quite understand why he's in a youth prison... Does he identify as being 14 now? No, that's not it. The NJ Department of Corrections just sees this as a weird compromise. And it's one Minor doesn't much appreciate.

In a blog post on July 15, Minor wrote, "[NJDOC] have violated my right to be safe and free from sexual harassment, by putting me in one of the most violent youth Correctional facilities. While living here at GYSC, I have found my self (sic) under attack by young inmates who are immature and just plain ignorant towards a person like me."

First, a question: How does this felon have access to write a blog in prison? Can someone explain this?

Second, I'm tired of people throwing around the word "right(s)." A right to be safe in prison? I'm pretty sure that's not something anyone can necessarily guarantee, and perhaps you should have thought about that being killing someone.

And third, he's "under attack by young inmates who are immature and just plain ignorant"? Or maybe they're just teenage boys who think a dude thinking he's a woman is a weirdo, and they don't exactly care if it hurts your feelings for them to say it aloud.

Minor also claimed he "was called he and him well over 30 times." Oh, the humanity!Look, the government should have never caved to this idiocy. Minor should be housed in a men's prison because he's a man--not a woman and not a "youth." And the fact that the state continues to pander to this idiocy only shows just how stupid the people running our governments truly are.
