They have been inconsistent in supporting the administration. Some columnists have been pro-President Trump, and some not so.
But at least in their overall editorial positions, they have generally been measured.
Not so anymore. To make an "always" statement, which can be roundly challenged in multiple instances, brings shame onto this newspaper. They are joining, or have already joined, the likes of the NY Times.
