I go all the way back. He was in Sacramento when a neighbor (SFFD) told me about "this guy" in Sacramento. Then suddenly he was gone. Had moved to NYC, which I did not know, but the same neighbor told me to dial around, "he's on there somewhere."
Back then it was only an hour and local lib stations kept dropping him. Finally KSFO picked Rush up, increased the time, and launched their ratings to the top (for decades).
