My First Air Force Job

People ask me what I did in the Air Force, so the machines were quite complex and not easily described. So, here is an image of just one thing I worked on from 1960 until early 1968. It was an analog B-52F flight simulator made by the Curtiss-Wright company. This one was parked at McCoy AFB, Orlando, FL during a month stay to train crews, and then we railroaded it to other SAC bases. Top image was the outside two cars, made from old railroad cars. Next was inside of the cockpit and operating consoles, then some of the electronic cabinets. I worked in the business for 30 years until the Union and Eastern Airlines kicked us out.
