Now I realize that my education was in a cave ... but how can they measure to an accuracy of 6 inches with a mach 5 shock wave. A mach 1 shock wave busts windows for miles and will raise a spike of water from a lake. I find this report difficult to believe. I seem to recall a gazillion years ago when they were developing the YF-12 that it's proposed missle didn't need a warhead because the shockwave would destroy the target. jest sayin
